THE BENJAMINS.
Technical Old Boys Com* Into Top CIaSS. Winners of last year's B grade, and conquerors of North Shore in their qualifying challenge match at the close of the season, Technical College Old Boys will make their debut this year in the creme de la creme of local club football. They will come to the A grade with practically the whole of the fast, clever rearguard which played a large part in putting them on top in the B grade. In fact, change foreshadowed is at full-back, where Ainsley, a recruit from Wanganui, may make his first appearance in Auckland Rugby. Necessary changes will be made in the forward?, with a view to giving the pack the weight which is always an asset in senior football, without interfering with the dash and speed that helped to carry the greens through their games last year. Two newcomers, who promise well, are Malcolm, an ex-Otago frontranker, who was hooking for Alhambra seniors last year, and Nelson, a forward of promise, who played last year for Lin wood in Christchurch.
