SYDNEY PROPERTY SALES.
A MILLION CHANGES HANDS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Harold Hislop, manager in Wellington for Mr. Stewart Dawson, states that Mr. Dawson has sold his property in Sydney, which includes the famous Ambassadors Cabaret, for the extraordinary price of £770,000. This sale follows hard upon the sale of the Dawson property in Melbourne, which was disposed of in November last for £250,000, making a total of £1,020,000 for the two properties.
Other properties Mr. Dawson still holds, and their estimated value, are: Regent Street, London, £800,000; Hatton Garden, London, £750,000; corner of Queen Street, Brisbane, £700,000; Lambton Quay, Wellington, £80,000; corner of High and Cashel Streets, Christchurcli, £70,000.
