The Government desires to see Massey College properly equipped, and it is prepared to find the money. This was the answer given by the IYime Minister to a deputation, representative of Auckland, Palmer-ton Xortli, and Wellington, which waited on him and the Minister of Lands to-dav. The chairman of the College Council. Sir George Fowlds, said rumours had been circulated that the land purchased for the college site had cost too much, and he assured the Government that there was nothing whatever to justifv such a statement.
