As is now generally known, the recent issue of £1,30.000 7J per cent Debentures in the Amalgamated Brick and PipCompany, Limited, met with popular favour that the whole amount was oversubscribed within six days im.l more than £50,000 worth in excess ot the desired amount had to be declined. • The i>-UP of £-50.000 of ordinary £] shares announced at the same tiiiio the. issue ot' Debentures is "now receiving the attention of investors. «nd a large proportion of this issue has already been subscribed. With the exceptional security offered, and judging l>v the way applications are already being made, it is anticipated that tiie full amount will be subscribed within a few days. The new capital is already ear-marked for an addition to the already Jar-e enterprises of the Amalgamated Brick and Pipe Company, Limited. This new j departure is estimated to secure the i strong position of the organisation and ! profits are assured from the whole of the capital.
