Public notice is hereby given that the folio-wing resolution passed at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council convened for that purpose and held on Thursday, the 7th day of March, 1929, and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Auckland City Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 18th day of April, 1929, in the Council Chamber, Town 1 Hall, Auckland, at 7 o'clock p.m., viz.:— "That in pursuance of the- powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Auckland City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order that those portions of Mills Lane, iVaiatarua Road and Windmill Road, shown coloured green on plans lodged in the Office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland, under Numbers 24769, 24810 and 24685 respectively be stopped, and that the width of portion of Shore Road adjoining portion of Allotment 1 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland, be diminished to not less than 66ft by taking from it the strip of. land shown coloured green on plan lodged as aforesaid under Numher 24679. and that portion of said Mills Lane be widened by adding to it a strip of land 10ft. wide running for a distance of 132 ft' along the Western side of Mills Lane and comprising portions of Allotments 24 and 25 of Section 17 of the City of Auckland.*' J.
