RIFLE SHOOTING.
AKARANA DEFENCE CLUB
Members of the Akarana Club fired the second stage of the final trophy series over the ranees of 300 and 500 yards at Penrose rifle ranee on Saturday for trophies presented bv Mr. T. Elliott, sen., the club, and Mr. W. Skegc. A light variable left wind made good shooting difficult. The three top men in each section take trophy points. v-iiver spoons wer'* won by A. W. Powell, T.
