AUCKLAND METHODISTS.
A meeting of the Auckland West Methodists was held iu St. John's Church, Ponsonby Road, last evening. The Rev. A. Mitchell presided and there was a large attendance of officials. The circuit stewards reported that the circuit debt, which amounted to £IGS at the beginning of last month, had been cleared and that the income for t.fce quarter met the expenditure. Various committees were appointed for the more effective working of the circuit and the chairman said that a thorough purging of the roll would take place next quarter. A request for the chairman to undertake home mission deputation work was refused. Arrangements were made for holding a mission of inspiration next quarter.
