COUNTY NOTICES. QOUNTY OF WAITEMATA. In the matter of The Local Bodies Loans' Act, 1926, and amendments thereto, and regulations made thereunder, and The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and regulations made thereunder, the body corporate known as the chairman, councillors and inhabitants of the County of Waitemata hereby give notice, in terms of Sections 9 and 10 of The Local Bodies Loans' Act. 1026, that it proposes to engage in the following undertaking, which it is duly authorised to do by law and by virtue of a resolution of the Local Government Loans Board, sanctioning the loan proposal, passed at a meeting held on the Bth day of March, 1929 ; and being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of the council propose to raise a special loan for the purpose of : — £ 1. The total sum proposed to be borrowed lis 15,000. in re>pe<-t of a loan to be known as the Waipareira Riding Loan I (1029). at a rate ol" interest not exceeding ! £5 10/ per centum per annum. The term for which £lo.soo, proposed to be borrowed for the purpose of Main Highways reconstruction, is for a period of 15 years, with a sinking lund of i;■ >t less than £4 12/6 per centum per ai.num. The term for which the sum of 4.200. proposed to he borrowed for the purpose of road works and by-roads, is 22* years, with a sinking fund of not less than 2J per centum per annum. The proposed security for the Joan is a special rate of five farthings in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Waipareira Riding of the County of Waitemata. a legal subdivision. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the preliminary expenses in connection villi the scheme for which the loan is proposed to be raised, and also the cost of raising the loan, but not the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the loan.
