DOUBLE WEDDING.

CLARKSON —LEWIS.

A double wedding took place at the Church of Christ, West Street, yesterday morning, when Florence May, second daughter of Mrs. Lewis, of Newton, and Charles Edward, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. CLarkson, of Remuera, were married. Mr. T. Laurie Wilcock, assisted by Pastor Campbell, officiated. The organist was Mrs. H. Aldridge. Mr. B. Lund gave the bride away, her gown being of simply-draped ivory georgette, crossover bodice, bound with silver and pearls, long-lined draperies, and fastened with a buckle of brilliants and pearls. Th tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of pearls and orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of choice white flowers and silver ribbons. Miss Edith Lewis, the bride's sister, and Doris Clarkson, the former in cameo pink and the latter in wistaria mauve, wore frocks made alike. The crossover bodices were piped with silver and gauged at the shoulders and waistline. Tulle bandeaux and shower bouquets matched their gowns. The best man was Mr. Ernest Pearson and the groomsman Mr. P. Weir. The wedding breakfast was served at the lona Rooms, which were daintily arranged in bowls of mauve and shades of pink asters. Mrs. Lewis wore a sapphire blue satin frock with diamante buckle, and fawn and blue hat. Mrs. Clarkson wore blackcrepe de chine and black and gold hat. McNAIR—FEENY. The second bride of the double wedding, which took place yesterday at the Church of Christ, was Elizabeth Wilson, only daughter of Mr. John Feeny, of Grey Lynn, when she became the wife of William Alan, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. P. McNair, of Epsom. Entering the church on her father's arm, the bride wore a frock of ivory georgette with pin-tucked bodice, flared skirt and appliqued water lilies on the uneven hem. Her veil was of tulle with coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a large white shower bouquet. Two bridesmaids were in attendance, Miss Clarice McNair, wearing pastel blue georgette trimmed with silver, and Miss Bertha Longley, in apple green georgette, petalled and silver-edged. Silver girdles were worn. Both wore tulle headdresses and carried shower bouquets of pink and mauve flowers. Mr. John Feeny was best man and the groomsman was Mr. Jack Reeves. The reception was held at Nairn's, the tables having high crystal stands of mauve and pink cactus dahlias. Mrs. McNair wore blue crepe de chine, black satin coat, blue and black hat.
