VERDICT OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH.
The inquest touching on the cfremnstances of the death of Desmond Charles Joseph, the lad who was knocked down by a motor bus and killed on the New Xorth Road on January 4 last, has been concluded by the coroner. Mr. T. K Hunt, S.M. Herbert Kane, the driver of the bus, which was running between Auckland and Riverhead, said deceased suddenlv ran in front of his vehicle when he was approaching the Mount Albert Borough Council Chambers. He was travelling at from 15 to 20 miles an hour. A verdict that deceased died of a fractured skull, the result of being accidentally knocked down by the bus, was returned.
