WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

BURROWS—MUNRO. St. David's Church was chosen for a pretty wedding at noon yesterday, the bride being Miss .lean Munro, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Munro, of Canada. and the bridegroom Mr. Martineau Finch Burrows, of New Ply - mouth. The bride looked very charming entering the church on the arm of Mr. (ieo. ifeald. uncle of the bridegroom, who gave her away. She wore a dainty dress ot white georgette, with diamante trimmings. her veil being of tulle, beautifully worked. It was caught in place with a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of white lilies, dahlias and asters. Miss (Jrace Heald, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty frock of silver tissue with overdress of apricot lace. A coronet headdress was worn, and she carried a shower bouquet of pink and white carnations. Ihe bridegroom was supported by Mr. Ernest Cox as Wfst man. The reception was held at "Mountain View," Wynyard Road, Mount J'.den, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Heald, where a very happy afternoon was spent. The reception room was beautifully dccorated with mauve astern and pink' lilies. Mrs. (•co. Heald. aunt of the bridegroom, acted as hostess, wearing a becoming dress of beige satin, with gold trimmings.

JOWSEY —BOWRING. A very quiet but prettv wedding was solemnised at St. Barnabas' Church on I uesday afternoon, -between Vivian, twin daughter of -Mr. and Mrs. A. Bowring. of "Co-mo," Esplanade Road. Mt. Kden, and Wilfred, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. If. H. Jowsey, of Queen's Avenue. Mt. Eden, the Rev. E. E. Bamford ofliHating. The bride entered the Cnurch on the arm of her father, and was attired in a dainty frock of ivory georgette frilled to the waist, the bodice being trimmed with opal sequins and orange blossom*. A coronet of white sapphires and orange blossom held her veil in place, and a dainty bouquet of lilies, cyclamen and asters completed her toilet. Attending the bride were Miss Monica Bowring, frocked in lotus rose crepe de chine with a panel of cream georgette frills, and carried a bouquet of sunset roses; Miss Eva Jowsey, maize crepe de chine and georgette of similar design, with a bouquet of mauve asters. Little Maxine McAndrew acted as flower girl, wearing a picturesque troek of mist blue crepe de chine with lace edgings and a headdress of pastel blue and pink rosebuds. She carried a posy of pink gum. The bridegroom was attended bv Mr. Norman Bowring as best man, and Mr. Frank •Simmons as groomsman. After the ceremony the reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Aire. Bowring received her guests wearing a gown of navy bengaline silk, with a hat to tone. Gosling, bois de rose crepe de chine; Miss Ellyett, embossed marocain; .Miss 0. Bowring, lace frock; Miss Bnllivant, wedge wood crepe de chine; Miss H. Nash, Erench embroidered voile; Miss C. Bowring, rose silk marocain; Miss Kathleen Barton, pink silk armure.
