SIR TRUBY KING IMPRESSED.
linpres.-ed with the development of child welfare in Australia, Sir Truby King. Director of Child Welfare, returned to Hew Zealand yesterday by the Ulimaroa from Sydney. Sir Truby's mission to the Commonwealth was to assist in the establishment of a branch factory of the Karitane Products Society, and make investigations relative to flunket Societ) work and child welfare generally in Sydney, Melbourne, and Tasmania. " I spent three week? in AustraHa," said Sir Truby when inter. viewed, "and was greatly impressed with the strides ie . _ made with child welfare m Sydney since my last visit three years ago. The Karitane hospital and mothercraft centre there are beautifully situated, the main buildino- bearing a remarkable resemblance "to the Auckland institution."
