HATTOBT TO MEET USCKEE. GREAT FIGHT EXPECTED. Holder of the New Zealand f&athorwpicit title, Johnny Leckie, who is to right Matt Hatton at Auckland on Monday evening next, will arrive in the city on Friday morn in?. Hβ is reported to be in fine fettle. Leckie and Hatton will meet under the auspices of the Northern Boxing Association, for a puree of £150 and expenses. The contest will be one of fifteen three-minute rounds. This will be only Leckie'e second appearance et Auckland, and it is expected that the house will be a record one. Booking opened this morning, when there was an unusually heavy demand for reserved seats. Hatton, in hie workoute, is showing himeelf to be at his very best, and is likely to give the champion one of the hardest tights of his career, while hie supporters will go eo far as to eay the he will win. In any case, the fig'ht is expected to be one of the fastest and best seen locally for a very long time. In addition to the professional match, the following amateur bouts will be decided:—Bantam-weights, Purdie v. Johns; feather-weights, Fraei v. McLachlau; light-weight*. Conmee v. McKnight; middle-weight?, Thompson v. Shadbolt.
