CYCLE IN FLAMES.
EXCITEMENT AT TAKAPUNA
Following the transference of a boweer supply pipe from a motor car to a waiting motor cycle at a service station in Hurstmere Road. Takapuna. at nine o'clock last evening, the cycle burst into flames. The fire burned back up the pipe, and as it threatened the pump, the fire brigade was called. The Takapuna Brigade quickly responded, and quelled the flames with the aid of chemicals.
