MAORI GIRL MISSING.
LAST SEEN AFTER SCHOOI*
SEARCH NOT SUCCESSFUL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. An eight-year-old Maori girl, Amo Teruhi, failed to return to her home from the Te Kauwhata School on Friday afternoon and has not been heard of since. The girl left school at 3.30 p.m. and was observed going across the paddock toward her home about half a mile away. The police conducted an unsuccessful search yesterday.
