CREW ALL SAFE
SYDNEY, February 15
The last of the fleet of barquentin trading between Sydney and the Sou Seas, the steel vessel Alexa, register! at Wellington, has been burned to tl water's edge and beached at Butaritai Cilbert Islands.
Advices received in Sydney say the fire occurred yesterday. Flames " swept the Alexa from stem to stern. The crew of eleven men and the master. Captain lleyen, all of Sydney. are safe.
