A CURIOUS STAIRCASE.
To all appearances this is just a verv ordinary flip-in of steps. After the first gian.-e you will ear. "Anyone can run up them."' Turn the picture sideways and you will see only the under side of the stairs. but turn it upside down and you will see that the flight of stairs goes the other war.
Cut out the sketch and ask a friend to find the right way of the picture. He will be certain tnat he has found it— until he turns it the other way up!
