SOME NEW FANS.
Gold sunflowers on black net made a lovely fan, which had a long end of the sunflower embroidered net forming a scarf which the wearer could wind round her neck if she desired, says a writer in the London "Daily Chronicle." This fan accompanied a slim frock of gold tissue. Very narrow, pointed feathers, probably of humble origin, but dyed in beautiful shades of purple and blue, fashioned a fan carried by the wearer of a grey-blue velvet evening gown with a transparent hem. Similar feathers in green and maize colour made a fan which blended in colourings with a draped frock of maize satin. A huge white ostrich feather fan, its width when open being almost equal to the height of the mannequin who carried it, accompanied a charming frock of white georgette which had a knot of pink and white feather flowers on one hip and a deep hem of rather thick lace.
