RESPECTED RESIDENT OF 82. NO GUILTY INTENTION'. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH. Friday. A woman aged S2 was charged at VVaitara, this morning- with dual voting in the Stratford electorate at the general election. Witnesses stated that defendant was a respected resident who was showing the effects of age. The magistrate, Mr. R. W. Tate, -aid he was satisfied he would not be justified in sending the case for trial because the old woman lacked guilty intention. But he emphasised the seriousness of the offence if knowingly committed.
