The annua] show of the Pahiatua A and P. Association «a» held to-day in beautiful weather. The gate takinewere a record, and an all-round «icoe*s was achieved, particularly in the bi» entry in sheep. Southdowns makin» 2 splendid display. ° The show was opened bv the Hon. E. A. Ranson, Minuter of Public Works who was the guest of the association! Mr. G. Sykes. member for Masterton! was also present. "
Championship honours were awarded as follows:—Southdown ram: P. \ BLsset; ewe, A. W. Bisset: reserve. A. W Lee and Son (MastertonL Romae\ - Ram, A. Hoggard; ewe, F. W. Blatciford.
Jerseys: Bull. J. Murrav (Woodrilletcow, P. Jennings (Mauriccrille). Dairy cow (special class): F. -Jennings. Milking Shorthorns: R. V. Brown (Weraroa). F. B. Bryant's entry wad placed firet for dairy cow shown in milk, judged oa points.
Dog trial: A. W. Bisset ], A. Watson 2. R. L. Hujrhes 3.
Hunters* competition: O. Nelson 1 UL Ha-sal 2, Miss G. Twiss 3.
