INSPECTION BT MINISTER.
VISIT TO TE WERA ESTATE

WELLINGTON, this day.
An inspection of the Wairoa-Gisborne railway route is to be made early next week by the Ministe- of Lands and Agriculture, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, who will be in the district for the whole of the week, as he intends looking over Te Wera Estate, a much-discussed land purchase of the Crown. The Minister intends to return to Wellington on February 25, and he will make a special inspection of the Roto-rua-Taupo-Putaruru pumice areas in conjunction with lands officer* between March 3 and 10.
