AWARDS OF THE JUDGES

Record entries were received for the Franklin A. and P. Association's fortyfourth annual show, which opened on the picturseque grounds at Pukekohe this morning. Perfect weather conditions prevailed, and arrangements for judging -were all that could be desired.

The total number of entries ht.s iW.."".. the previous record heinp 2220. Some of the finest cattle in the Auckland province were on exhibition, those in the Jersey j and Shorthorn classes creating a Doniinj ion record for entries received. In tlte former division 193 beasts were paraded before the judge, while in the latter sections 107 entered the ring.
