Wilson, inspector of factories and representative of tho Labour Department at Hamilton, visited Waihi this morning and made inquiries injr the position. c
Mr. Wilson stated that all the men requiring work must in the first instance fill up the required form of application at a post office, and forward t!:e same to him at Hamilton. Applications would then be sent to tin- department in Wellington. Some 23 men need work here and the mode of registration at a post ofh,-,-. instead of dealing direct with the local union, is objected to as causing unnecessary delav
