YOUTH WHO STOLE 17/ti
'"It was a very contemptible act," said Sub-Jnspector McCarthy when describing a theft of 17/ti in money by a 20-year-old youth. William B. .Johnson, who appeared before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., in the Police Court this morning.
The sub-inspector said that the accused had gone through tlve pockets in a cloak room at a dance hall. He was under the influence of liquor. Accused had hcen in trouble before.'
Johnson was ordered to pav costs and was fined ,C I, in default 21 davs.
