MR. MONTEITH ACTING

ELLINGTON, this day. A decision to recommend the appointment of Mr. A. L. Monteith as acting member, and Mr. F. C. Cornwell as deputy was made at a special meeting of the Wellington City branch of the Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and •Joiners' Industrial Union of Workers, to consider the question of recommending to the Governor-General a suitable per" son as the workers' representative and deputy on the Court of Arbitration from the list of nominated members, as submitted by the Labour Department.
