RAVAGES IN THE WAIRARAPA. OTHER THAN FRUIT TREES. (By Telegraph.— Special to "Star.") MA ST KK TON. this day. Fireblight lias a linn hold in the \\ airarapa district, and its ravages arc spreading to other than fruit trees, according to a -Masterton orchard ist. who informed the ''Star'' correspondent today that other trees were being attacked. He saill that hi- had rut down garden trees which were ha (fly affected with the blight. 'l'he position in reirard to this scourge, he added, was becoming verv serious.
