Public notice Iβ hereby given that the following special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Waitemata County Council, held on Friday, the 18th day of January, 1029, will be submitted for connrmatlon as a Special Older at a meeting of the said Council to be held at Noon, at the County Offices, Princes Street, Auckio"»o ° n Friday, the 2 - nd da y of February, In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested In it by Section 17 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Rosedale Road Special Loan Area (Birkenhead Riding) in the County of Waitemata, hereinafter descrihed, justified by a Petition, signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Rosedale Road •pedal loan nrea, the capital value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County, is col lectlvely greater than the capital value of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Wnitemata County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:— "For the purpose of metalling part of Rosedale Road In the Birkenhead Rid- ¥}■*,?* the t-' OO of Waitemata, the \\altemata County Council hereby authorises the raising of a Loan of over a period of twenty years at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 10/ per centum per annum, and declares that the cost of raising the loan and the flrst year's interest on the Loan shall not be payable out of the money so raised.
