AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. GAMES AT EASTER. SUGGESTED MATCH WITH WELLINGTON. Members of the Auckland Cricket Association's Management Committee met last evening. Mr. E. K. Nalder presiding. Permission to take a team to Warkworth to play tne Ilodney A-sociation to-morrow week was granted Mr. E. C. Beale. The Auckland University College was given permission to play its annual match against Victoria College at E.len Park on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Monday. Considerable discussion took place concerning the proposed special match between Auckland and Wellington at Wellington during Eacster. The chairman said that as Auckland had engagements with the North Auckland and VVaikato Associations, and as the University, Parnell, Ponsonby. Y.M.C.A., and Training College Clubs would all lie playing special matches, he did not tnink that the Wellington match could be arranged. Mr. N. C. Snedden, in favouring the proposal, eaid that it would give young players some valuable experience. It Hasi decided to leave the matter in the hasidis of a sub-committee consisting of Messrs. Nalder, Siiedden and N. H. Hockin. In applying for affiliation the Auckland Girls' Cricket Association asked permission to play an exhibition match at Eden Park on Easter Saturday, and for the use of a practice wicket at the park prior to tne match. Affiliation was granted and a wicket allotted for the exhibition game. A practice wicket will aLso be available provided the caretaker can make arrangements. 'Mr. E. C. Beale suggested the net gate proceeds of Easter Saturday be handed over to the Girle' Association. The suggestion was agreed to, and Messrs. Nalder and Beale were appointed to meet the eister association in the matter. TE ATA V. MT. ALBERT GRAMMAR.
