Y.W.C.A. BUSINESS GIRLS' CLUB.

The Bti«inc>s Girls' Club reopened last week. The delightful airy rooms, situated at the top of the Union Buildings. in Customs Street East, were gay with bright summer flowers. Members seated at the luncheon tables chatted gaily of their adventures during the Christmas holidavs. What a delightful place for

weary city girls to go to during their luncheon hour, high up above the noise of the city traffic and where all thought of the office and shop can be laid aside for a time, to be picked up again with a fresh mind. Some members bring their lunches with them, while others buv from the cafe, according to their various tastes and fancies. Lunch over. some of the members wand" off to do (.hopping or for a stroll up the streets, while others, less energetic, retire to the lounge to .read or rest in an easy chair Perhaps one has had a late night rtlld she will stretch herself on a sofa for a few minutes' sleep before returning to her work. Tien there is a readand lending library of a goodly number of books always available. Sometimes some of the musical members of the dub will make the hour more eniovable by giving a piano solo. The members have had great joy in welcoming back H^ 3 Elizabeth Fleming, chairman of their committee. Miss Fleming has just returned from a delightful trip to the Franz Josef Glacier and her interesting accounts of her vacation have been enjoyed by the members. .
