At lasf rnj-ht's session of the New Zealand Federation of Plumbers conference, the terms of the afliliation of the recently -formed Hawkc's Bay Union were discussed. It was decided to admit tlie union on a special subscription basis, in view of its small membership. Mr. E. G. Dowrick was welcomed as the official representative of the union.
