PECULIAR FATALITY.

ACCIDENT TO MOTOR CAR. PASSENGER'S NECK INJURED. (By TelegrapTT.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The death of Albert Kennedy McNaince, a single man, aged 34, occurred in the public hospital yesterday. Mr. McNamee was injured, as a result of a tyre blowing out while he was being driven in a motor car near Tuapeka on Friday, and he was removed to Dunedin Hospital. At the inquest concerning his death Patrick Lyons Anderson, a farmer, the driver of the car, said that when the tyre blew out the car slewed round, but it was thought deceased had not been seriously injured. He complained that he had hurt his neck, but it was not until Sunday that it was thought necessary to summon a doctor, who ordered his removal to Dunedin Hospital. The inquest was adjourned.
