'More Funds Needed To Carry On Strike. TIMBER MILLS TROUBLE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. As a result of the timber strike the Labour Council executive has decided to impose a levy of 1/ a week on adult males and Od a week on females on all members who are working. A sicmificant feature is that special exemption fron. the levy is given the Miners' Federation in view of the condition existing iu the coal industry. An Adelaide message states that indications point to all mills at Part Adelaide being in full swine by Monday. The owners have engaged "non-wii'Vi labour to augment the skeleton stall* which have been carrying on.
