FIGHT ENDED.
Cruiser Bill Awaits Coolidge's Signature. AMENDMENT PASSED. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, February 7. Congress, without recording a rote, has sent the Cruiser Bill to President Coolidge for his signature after having adopted the Senate amendment, whereby the President has power to stop building operations if a disarmament agreement is reached with the Powers. This has virtually ended the fight for the new cruisers, as President Coolidge is expected to sign the measure.
