Cabled advice from Colon states that the Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander. en route from Halifax to Auckland and Australia, arrived there on Wednesday. !"?ie is due at Auckland about February 23. KENT AND MIDDLESEX. Cabled advice from Curacao reports the departure from there on Tuesday last of the Federal steamers Kent and Middlesex. To put out the remainder of her cargo of Ocean Island phosphate, the steamer Cowden Law sailed last evening for Lvtteiton. From Lyti-lton she is to go to Westport for bunkers and thence to Victoria to load wheat for the United Kingdom. Taking passengers, mails and cargo for Norfolk Island, the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare was dispatched from the King's wharf last evening. She is due back at Auckland on February 15 and is announced to sail lor Niue and Samoa on February 19. Having completed discharge of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp, the Sbaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Ora is now loading general and refrigerated produce for London. It is hoped to dispatch her at noon to-morrow for Oamaru. Wanganui. Wellington, Timartt and Lyttelton to fill up, and she is scheduled to clear the lastuamed port for London on March 1. Leaving Sydney this afternoon, the Union Company's passenger steamer Marama is due at Auckland on Tuesday morning and sails again the following Friday. Also leaving Sydney this afternoon, the Maunganui is due at Wellington on Tuesday and sails again on Friday.

WAITEMATA COMING. The local office of the Union Company has received advice that the steamer Waitemata cleared Los Angeles at 0 p.m. on Sunday with a full cargo of case oil and general merchandise for Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about February 28. THE NIAGARA Having cleared Sydney at 4 p.m. Testerday, the Union Company's R.M.s. Niagara is dne at Auckland early on Monday morning. She is announced to resume her voyage to Suva, Honolulu and Vaucouver at noon on Tuesday. CASE OIL FROM TEXAS. A charter has been arranged for the steamer Baron Fairlic (0076 tons) to load caw oil and petroleum products at Port Arthur (Texas) between February 15 and February 20. for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Bunburv and Freniaatle. lONIC REPORTS. According to her wireless report, the Shaw, SaviU and Albion steamer lonic will reach Auckland from London and Southampton at midnight on Wednesday, berthing on Thursday morning. She will land passengers and mails at Auckland, as well as part cargo, completing discharge at iJuiiediu. THE WAIOTAPU. For final discharge of her general cargo from Calcutta and East Indian port 6. the I nion Company's steamer Waiotapu is to leave Wellington for Auckland at noon tomorrow. From Auckland she is to go to the Pacific Coast to load for New Zealand. JVAIPAHIS ITINERARY. To load cement for Wellington and Lytlelton the Union Company's steamer Walpahi was dispatched for Portland last night. On her return from Lvttclton she is to reenter the island trade, and is announced to sail for Suva on February 21 to load fruit for Auckland. MANUKA FOR MELBOURNE. From Melbourne, via Bluff. Dunedin and Lyttelton. the Union Companv's intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka is due at Wellington to-day.
