AUCKLAND GAS CO. year ended December 31 in disclosed by the directors of the Auckland Ga« Company. The annual report just issued to shareholders states that the profit*, after deducting working expenses, cost of repairs and renewals, management expenses, interest, bad debt*, depreciation and other charges amount to £86,321. MELBOURNE, this day. Melbourne shareholders in the Barnet Glass Robber Company, Limited, unanimously approved of the terms offered by the Dunlop Rubber Company for the purchase of the whole of the Barnet Glass ordinary shares at 32/ each, aggregating £88.000. The view was expressed that further amalgamation is likely to be announced shortly thereby, stabilising the rubber manufacturing trade in Australia.
