For failing to prevent his two cOwe from wandering on the Great South Road at Runciman, R. H. McDowell was fined 10/ and costs, £2 6/ to-day. It was explained thai One day last October the cows were on the road, and a sendee car came suddenly upon them. An accident was averted narrowly.
