RAILWAY REFRESHMENT STALLS.

I have just returned from Rotorua. I ** s encouraged in my excursion by the advertisements of the Railway Department to travel by train—"comfort, safety, etc." The actual '•train" part of the business was quite in order, but not so the service as dispensed by the socalled refreshment booths. At a high figure I purchased tea and sandwiches, and if ever a libe! was perpetrated on the good name of good tea it was at two. (at least) of the stalls on the Rotorua line. The sandwiches too, wt-re of the puzzle type—find the meat. B«t ♦ha* stuff sold as being tea, honestly, words fai.' me. Let the Itailwav Department tak* heed lest all the good being done by their publicity department is not killed by the inefficient and bad service rendered bv the folk who look after the "refreshment" part of tfc outfit. TOOK AX ANTIDOTE.
