ENGINE LEAVES LINE.
LYTTELTON TUNNEL MISHAP. (By Telegraph.—Frrgg Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The engine and two trucks of a goods train which was proceeding to Lyttelton yesterday afternoon were derailed at the entrance to the tunnel through some fault in the automatic derailing switch, which is supposed to operate only when train is in the tunnel or the' points are closed. The engine and two trucks were more or leee damaged, I>ut the driver and fire man escaped injury.
