HELD BY WEDDING RING.
WOMAN'S FINGER AMPUTATED NEW PLYMOUTH ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) . . NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Th* loss of a by amputation followed an unusual accident which happened to Mrs. J. Wilson, of Manaia. Mrs. Wilson was standing on a box and Teaching into a high cupboard when the box collapsed. Her wedding ring caught on a hook and for a few moments ehe hung .there, suspended by the ring. Her finger v/as severely lacerated and she fell.to the floor in a fainting state, as the result of the pain and great loss of blood.
HeJp was summoned and Mrs. Wilson was removed to the hospital.
