TOURING NELSON PARTY.
MINISTERIAL ASSURANCES.

WELLINGTON, this day
A party of Nelson fruitgrowers, who have been on a visit to Wairarapa and Hawke's Bay orchards, were entertained on their return to Wellington by the Fruitgrowers' Federation.
The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. G. W. Forbes, and the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, and Colonel Gray, chairman of the Fruit Export Board, took part.
The Minister of Agriculture said- he was sure Parliament at all.times and the present Government would do everything possible to help build up such an important primary industry. Mr. Atmore stressed the value of the industry in bringing into production lands which were unsuitable for ordinary farming purposes.
