Australian, New Zealand, South African and Indian orders amounting to £1,800,000 for pre-.Tune delivery, being Ml increase of £200,000 as compared with the first half of last year, combined with the home demand for 7-14 borse-power motor care and also charabancs, create an unprecedented boom in ill* British industry. The makers of three of the most popular light and baby care are turning out MOO weekly, estimated to represent f<llßo.ooo, which is considerably above last year's record before Easter sales. The output of many other makers is exceeding the previous best by twenty per cent.
