STALLION DESTROYED.
TROTTER PETER CHEXAULT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Mr. J. R. McKenzie's imported trotting stallion Peter Chenault was destroyed this morning. A few month* ago he ricked his back, and as he failed to make the expected recovery it was deemed advisable to destroy him.
