HORSEMAN AND CAR.
lUDER HURT AND MOUNT LOST.
MATAKANA, Monday
While riding a horse on Saturday evening a young man named Bell was passing a car, when the horse appeared to stumble and was struck by the car. The horse had to be destroyed. The rider was rendered insensible and after attention by a doctor was sent to Warkworth Hospital.
