NAVAL RESERVISTS ABOARD
MANOEUVRES NEXT WEEK
Taking parties of the Volunteer Navy Reserve for practical training the cruisers Dunedin and Diomedc left this morning for the Hauraki Gulf.
While in the gulf the cruisers will ».e joined by the sloop Veronica, which is t i leave port on Thursday. The Laburnum is to sail to-nuiri'Ow on a four days' visit to Taiiranga and on her return will join the other vessels in manoeuvres.
After manoeuvres the cruisers will visit the Great Barrier and al*o Kawa'i, returning to Auckland on January 2... On January 30 they will leave again for Russell with further parties of rcs»rvisU.
