RAWLINGS SCHOLARS.
THREE AWARDS MADE.
SELECTION" BY TRUSTEES
Rawlings scholarships, tenable for three years at either the Auckland Grammar School or King's College, have been awarded by the trustees (Messrs. Charles C. Baker and L. W. Swan) to Wilfred James Allingham (Kowhai District High School), 187 marks out of a possible of 255; Roy Bradney Bould (Kowhai District High School), 177 mark's; and Leslie H. Hoskinge (Xorthcote Junior High School), 173 marks. The last-named is an orphan.
The scholarships are available for boys under the age of 12 years on December 1 next, attending a public school. The trustees have the power of extending the scholarships, and making grants if necessary to assist the boys.
