TE AWAMUTU BUTTER.

GOOD OUTPUT THIS SEASON. RETURNS FOR SEVEN MONTHS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, this day. An excellent output has been maintained this season by the Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited. The output in December was 112 tons 14 cwt., compared with 75£ tons for the same month last year. The average butter grade for December was 92.77. For the seven months of the season, the quantity of butter made was 406J tons, compared with 290f tons for the same period last year, an increase of 57 per cent. The announcement has been made that a payment of 1/5 per lb butterfat will be advanced for finest quality cream supplied in December, and that shareholders will be credited with an additional Jd per lb. The amount of the cash payment for the month will be £14.672, compared with £8671 for December last year, when the rate of advance was 1/3 per lb. The total amount paid for the season to date is £60,146, compared with £35,960 for the same period last year. All connected with the dairying industry and the community as a whole are jubilant concerning these results.
