Strange Disappearance In Britain. CLAIMANT TO TITLE. (.Australian and N.Z. Press Association ) I (RecPivpd 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 11. Alexander Kenneth Murray from Canberra arrived ia London in June to establish his claim to a baronetcy and extensive estates. He communicated with Australia House and had a conference with Scottish authorities but finality i was not reached. It is ascertained that Murray was perturbed and complained of tb# "passive resistance to my claims" in the course of a letter to a friend. He also spoke of the money he had expended to establish his claim and said he did not know what to do.
The» last record from Murray is a letterj dated September 29 from an Edinburgh) suburb to his son, a fruitgrower near Sydney, in which he said he was being taken to India.
Australia House has been asked <o trace Murray and communicated with the police and the Scottish authorities, but without result. Copies of the relevant correspondence are being sent to the Dominions Office. Many letters addressed Sir Alexander Murray arc waiting at Australia House. Prior to his disappearance Murray visited Sir Ctranville Ryrie, High Commissioner, and presented panoramic views of Canberra. Hie visiting card was: A. K. Murray, edi:or and proprietor, Federal Capital, Picneer of Canberra.
