ANOTHER COMPANY FORMED. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, December 12. The success attending the promotion and starting of the Fiji Pineapple Co. has been followed by the quick flotation and allotment of the West Coast Pines (Fiji) Ltd. No sooner was the prospectus published locally than _ there was sojjid support offered, and it is now announced that so many shares fovm been applied for that the new company is going to allotment. The minimum subscription of 6000 shares has been considerably exceeded, and no lesar than 89 per cent of the capital is local. The directors havo decided that 19.200 sharep will be placed oil the market while 30,000 wijl be held in reserve. Bipci| the issue of the prospectus no fewer than 500,000 suckers have been supplied toth# contractors and planted, The recent an nouncement. of a large protection for the industry by the Government for aperiod oi ten years ijiust have been a factor in establishing public confidence.
