The Waipukurau Jockey Club's summer meeting was held to-day in wet weather. I There was a large attendance. The course I became very slippery, four horses falling 1 on the flat ia the eourse of the day's apart. The totalisator handled £14,120 for the day, compared with £13,531 last year.
