ARCHBISHOP ILL.
Dr. Ccsrmo Lang Confined To Bed. INTERNAL INFLAMMATION. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) LONDON, December 25. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Cosmo Lang, is suffering from internal inflammation and will be confined to bed for some days. Sir Hugh Rigby, the King's honorary surgeon, was called to considt with the archbishop's doctor, Dr. Whitehead Reid.
Dr. Reid said the archbishop had passed a moderately comfortable day on Sunday. He had had some sleep, but the inflammation remained tbe same.
The Primate had some sleep on Sunday night. The doctor said • the pain had lessened and the which appeared to be in the region of the liver, was subsiding.
